2.2 Intake Agents

Intake Agents are the advanced form of data integration in the Data Context Hub and are the successor to Connectors. An Intake Agent runs as a standalone service that acts as a bridge between the external data source and the Data Context Hub. It handles all data retrieval tasks automatically and hands over the data to the system for import operations. This allows for automated, repeatable data synchronization.

Once registered, Intake Agents become available as data sources in the Model. The user can then create Target Entities from the retrieved data and process them into the knowledge graph using the Build operation.
