2.4 Model
The Model is the central component of the Data Context Hub where the user defines the structure of the knowledge graph. It provides a visual canvas for designing and managing the data architecture.
The Model consists of the following elements:
- Target Entities – Define the data structures that will become nodes in the knowledge graph. Each entity maps properties from a data source to the graph schema.
- Relationships – Define the connections between Target Entities, specifying how nodes in the graph are linked to each other.
- Data Sources – Connect the Model to external data through Containers (from Connectors) or Intake Agents.
Once the Model is configured, the user can run the Build operation to process Target Entities into the knowledge graph.
